MANILA, Philippines – "It's more fun in the Philippines," the new tourism slogan goes. No less than British award-winning author Neil Gaiman has attested that that's exactly how he feels every time he's in the country.

On his Twitter account, Gaiman posted: "#itsmorefuninthephilippines hashtag is a true one. They applaud loudly and hug you a lot."

Gaiman, who has visited the Philippines thrice, has a cult following in the country.

He is known for Sandman, a popular graphic novel series, as well as other books, including a collection of fiction and children's books.
