Sneak peek: TV5 posts David Archuleta's official rendition of 'Nandito Ako'

TV5 on Thursday posted a sneak peek into American Idol star David Archuleta's official rendition of "Nandito Ako", theme song of a teleserye of the same title that he will shoot for the television network.

In a casting coup for TV5, the Philippines' third largest broadcasting network, Archuleta makes his acting debut alongside the Kapatid Network's Jasmine Curtis and Eula Caballero. He has been shooting the series in Manila, and in line with production demands has also recorded his version of the Ogie Alcasid classic, in the song's original Filipino.

TV5 posted a preview of Archuleta's version, and it is expected he will also record an English version of "Nandito Ako", as translated by the original's composer, Aaron Paul Del Rosario. Here is the video posted by TV5.
