MANILA, Phlippines -- (UPDATE, 1: 17 p.m.) President Benigno Aquino III on Wednesday confirmed dating Korean entertainment anchor Grace Lee.
“Well, we are seeing each other,” Aquino told reporters in an interview during the 25th anniversary of the Philippine Information Agency.
“I’ll leave it at that,” he said, adding in jest: “Even our Constitution provides for the right to privacy. Maybe you can spare me some of that right under Article 3.”
Lee, in her television show Wednesday noon, said: “What the President said is true.”
“There is no room for clarification because (what the President said) was simple and truthful,” Lee said.
Asked to divulge details on her dates with Aquino, Lee played coy and said “secret.”
Aquino has earlier lamented that his love life had become like a sugar-free cola.
His former flame, Valenzuela councilor Shalani Soledad, has recently married Pasig Rep. Roman Romulo.
Aquino was last reported dating 27-year-old teacher Bunny Calica, celebrity stylist Liz Uy, and stockbroker Len Lopez.
