MANILA, Philippines -- (UPDATE2 - 12:37 p.m.) Oil firms Shell, Petron, Chevron and Total raised the prices of their fuel products Tuesday morning.
Effective 6 a.m., the price of Shell and Total's unleaded gasoline went up by P0.50 per liter and diesel by P0.85 per liter.
Petron, on the other hand, raised unleaded prices by P0.50 per liter, diesel by P0.70 and kerosene by P0.85.
Chevron (formerly Caltex) also announced that effective 6 a.m. February 14, it increased the price of Gold, Gold E10, Silver and Silver E10 and regular gas by 50 centavos a liter (all VAT-inclusive); and its diesel and kerosene by 85 centavos a liter.
