MANILA, Philipines – The country’s leading telecom company will provide free wi-fi access in Baguio City during its Panagbenga Flower Festival.

In a statement, Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. (PLDT) said it would install Wi-Fi Zones along Session Road from the PLDT Baguio office to Harrison Street fronting Burnham Park. The free service would run from February 24 to 26.

“We hope to enrich the Panagbenga experience by allowing people to immediately post and share their experiences online to their loved ones here and abroad,” said John Marasigan, PLDT Baguio customer service zone head.

“For now, those who want to use and try out the service just need to get their access PINs (personal identification numbers) from manned PLDT booths in several areas along Session Road,” he said.
