MANILA, Philippines - Andal Ampatuan Sr., the prime suspect in the 2009 Maguindanao massacre, was rushed to the hospital Friday after vomiting blood, police reported.
A report from the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) said Ampatuan was brought to Taguig Pateros Hospital at about 12:30 p.m. today. Five policemen and jail personnel provided security to the former governor.
Ampatuan was implicated in the Maguindanao massacre where 58 people, including 32 journalists, were killed.
