MANILA, Philippines -- A Negros Occidental judge was killed in an ambush along the national highway in Ilog town Tuesday night, police said.
Judge Henry Arles of the regional trial court in Kabankalan City was driving his Nissan Sentra along the national highway in Barangay Manalad when the suspects drove up to him in a tricycle and shot him.
Arles was rushed to the Southern Negros Doctor's Hospital, where he was declared dead. Police are still investigating the incident.
