MANILA, Philippines -- A 27-year-old shipping executive was abducted by heavily-armed men in Las Pinas City early Saturday morning, a police spokesperson said.
Vicente Cordero III, the manager of the Shogun Ships Co., Inc., was out biking with friends when he was seized by six armed men outside the Versailes Subdivision along Daang Hari.
The incident occurred at about 7:30 a.m. The suspects, armed with M16 rifles, forced the victim into a white Mitsubishi Adventure (WBF 237).
Police have issued a flash alarm to all units for the rescue of the victim.
