CORREGIDOR ISLAND - President Benigno Aquino III on Sunday warned the perpetrators of a bomb attack in Iligan City to surrender and not to wait for the long arm of the law to reach them.
"We do not have suspects yet. But we expect our police and other law enforcement agencies to catch all those behind this incident," Aquino said.
"If the perpetrators are listening to us right now, it is better for you to surrender because there will be no let-up in our operations. We will catch you eventually," the President added.
Aquino, when asked if there is need to beef up security in Iligan City, said the intelligence community is constantly conducting threat assessments across the country.
One civilian was killed while 21 others were injured in the blast.
