MANILA, Philippines -- (UPDATE - 1:37 p.m.) The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board on Thursday slapped a 20-day preventive suspension order on TV5's public affairs show "T3" over threatening comments made on air by brothers Ben, Raffy and Erwin Tulfo against showbiz couple Raymart Santiago and Claudine Barreto.
The couple figured in a brawl with the Tulfos' brother, Ramon, at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport last Sunday.
MTRCB spokesman Eugenio Villareal said they will also look into the relationship and dynamics "between the anchors and networks."
"Did you issue measures to prevent such incidents?" Villareal said.
The Tulfo brothers were earlier given a three-day suspension by TV5.
With the MTRCB ruling, their entire show cannot air until the end of the month or after the MTRCB concludes its investigation.
