MANILA, Philippines - Ali Quintos, a close-in security aide of Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Leila de Lima was gunned down Friday morning.
The remains of the 32-year-old victim, who lived in Antipolo City, were found in San Ildefonso, Bulacan.
The DOJ chief, who was clueless about the motive behind Quintos' slay ordered the National Bureau of Investigation to look into the death of her aide, an organic member of the DOJ's Internal Service Operations Group.
Before the incident, Quintos was dropped off in Cubao, Quezon City by the DOJ chief's other close-in aides Thursday night after work.
