MANILA, Philippines - Senator-judge Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. voted to acquit Chief Justice Renato Corona on Article II as the impeachment court rendered a verdict on Day 44 of the historic trial.

Marcos, 14th in the line of senators called upon to declare and announce their vote, said the offense Corona is charged with in Article of Impeachment II, failure to disclose fully his assets, liabilities and net worth, "does not rise to the level of an impeachable offense."
