MANILA, Philippines - After CNN, National Geographic or NatGeo channel will soon feature the different travel destinations in the Philippines. This is still part of the Department of Tourism's (DOT) "it's more fun in the Philippines” campaign to attract more tourists to visit the amazing destinations in the country.

Among the tourist destinations that will be featured are Banaue Rice Terraces and Coron, Palawan.

Promoting the country's travel destinations via international networks is a strategy crafted by DOT Secretary Ramon Jimenez.

Awareness drive also in London

Another DOT strategy to lure more tourists is by creating awareness in the United Kingdom, particularly in the city of London. Advertisement materials like posters, digital ads and panels are being placed on cabs, escalators and strategic stopovers. London is the second most visited city in the world, according to US News Travel. With a report from Aliana Gimenz, InterAksyon.com
