Google doodle salutes Philippine Independence Day

MANILA - Google on Tuesday honored the Philippines on its 114th Independence Day with a doodle using the Philippine colors, and incorporating the flag's iconic sun within the Google logo.

Google regularly changes the doodle on its website to commemorate a special occasion. The jubilee celebration of Queen Elizabeth II was among the more recent Google doodles. The fun twist to the Google logos has been done for Christmas, New Year, Halloween, Valentine's, and other international celebrations.
