The UP Mountaineers, in partnership with Mountain Hardwear and Columbia will be holding their annual Applicants Orientation on July 6, 2012 (Friday),  6PM at the UP Bahay ng Alumni, Diliman, Q.C. and July 7, 2012 (Saturday), 7PM at R.O.X, Bonifacio High Street, Taguig.

The orientation is free and is open to all. Non-UP students and working individuals are welcome to join.

Founded in 1977, the UP Mountaineers is a leading mountaineering club in the Philippines. One of the oldest mountaineering organizations in the Philippines, its program emphasizes responsible outdoor recreation and environmental conservation. Prominent members include Romi Garduce, the first and only Filipino so far to have reached the Seven Summits; Everest climbers Noelle Wenceslao and Janet Belarmino; and botanist Leonard Co.
