On Friday, July 20, reporters, writers, and editors of InterAksyon.com will be working out of the lobby of the Palma Hall of the University of the Philippines. 

Students, teachers, and members of the UP community are invited to participate in the event, which runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  on July 20.

Apart from interacting with the editorial team of InterAksyon, people dropping in may enjoy free downloads and installation of the InterAksyon app for iOS and Android devices. Free coffee, snacks, and Wi-Fi care of Smart Communications will also be on tap.

  • From 9 to 11 a.m., InterAksyon will live-blog and give full coverage to a symposium on the Spratlys at the UP College of Law. The forum is entitled The Rise of China and the US Asia Pivot: Implications for the Philippines, Asean, and the West Philippine Sea dispute. It is sponsored by the Asia Pacific Basin for Energy Strategies, Inc, a energy and economic think-tank.
  • Multi-awarded poet, musician, and TV5 news presenter Lourd de Veyra will be  at Online Onsite to moderate a forum entitled "UPinyon: SONA", from 2:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. The panel discussion will feature the insights of economist Men Sta. Ana of the Action for Economic Reform and polling expert Felipe Miranda, as well as a live performance by rock icon Dong Abay.
  • Online Onsite will also be attended by award-winning poet and radio host Danton Remoto.
  • Teddyboy Locsin, journalist-lawyer, former lawmaker and InterAksyon columnist, will be on site from 1-3 p.m. to meet readers and interact with other guests and the news portal's editors and reporters.
  • From 2 to 3 p.m., InterAksyon columnist Jessica Zafra will be on site to meet her readers and sign copies of her bestselling books.
  • Editors of TV5 and Radyo Singko 92.3 NewsFM will be joining the InterAksyon Team throughout the day.

An Aksyon Center Desk will also be  up during the event to receive complaints for TV5's public service programs.
