It is a scene that would make even the stone-hearted teary-eyed.
On a rainy Monday morning, Lyndon Santos took a video while he was "stuck in traffic under the EDSA-Timog flyover."
He then posted it on his Facebook page, garnering 117 Likes and 474 shares as of press time.
"I was so touched by what I witnessed yesterday morning as I was stuck in traffic under the EDSA-Timog flyover," he wrote. "There was this little girl who was butt-naked under the rain. Upon seeing this poor girl, a young woman took her jacket off and patiently put it on the kid. The woman's good deed ended with a wave of goodbye and a quick run for cover. Meron pa palang ganitong klaseng tao! Kung sino ka man, Mabuhay ka madam! (I didn't know that there were still people like her in the world. Whoever you are, madam, long live!)"
Facebook user Bombi Plata commented, "Now I ask myself... Could I have done the same? Stuck in rainy traffic... eagerly yet hopelessly late for my next workshop or techmit or something... Napahiya ako sa sagot ko sa sarili ko. (I was embarrassed of my answer.)"
Santos then replied, "Bombi, napahiya din ako sa sinagot ko sa sarili ko mehn. What I find more amazing is that I bet it didn't take a lot of thinking on her part to make the move. Instinctive eh! Sa ilalim ba ng ulan mag-iisip ka pa? Musmos. Nakahubad. Umuulan. Maginaw. Damitan ko kaya? Dinamitan nga ni ate! Astig 'di ba? (It was instinctive. Will you still think when you're braving the rain? A child. Naked. Under the rain. It's cold. Shoud I clothe the child? And she did! Isn't that cool?)"
InterAksyon tried to contact Santos for further comment, but he has not replied as of press time.
