The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has alerted the public to traffic complications this weekend on account of the anti-RH bill rally and the conduct of the UP College Admission Test (UPCAT).
Heavy traffic is expected in the Katipunan area due to the UPCAT; and in Padre Faura area as UP Manila will serve as test center.
Due to the scheduled RH Bill Rally to be held at 1:00 pm tomorrow, Saturday (August 4), the northbound lane of EDSA corner Ortigas Avenue will be closed to traffic from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
EDSA-Ortigas flyover (both directions) will remain open to traffic.
Motorists are advised to constantly check the TV5-MMDA Traffic Navigator. The MMDA is also advising motorists to avoid these areas and take the following alternate routes:
