The following areas and schools have suspended classes for Monday, August 6, on account of heavy rains spawned by the southwest monsoon.

  • Quezon City, from pre-school to high school.
  • Mandaluyong has suspended classes for all public and private schools.
  • San Juan has suspended classes for public and private schools, from kindergarten to high school.
  • Taguig has suspended classes for all public and private schools.
  • Malabon has suspended classes for all public and private schools.
  • Marikina has suspended classes in public schools in barangays Malanday, Tumana, Concepcion Uno, and Nangka.
  • Pasay has suspended classes in public and private schools.
  • Rizal: Classes suspended in San Mateo and Rodriguez.
  • Classes have been suspended in the following Valenzuela schools:
    • A. Deato Elementary School 
    • Coloong Elementary School 
    • Isla Elementary School
    • Pasolo Elementary School
    • Pio Valenzuela Elementary School
    • PR San Diego Elementary School
    • Tagalag Elementary School
    • Wawang Pulo Elementary School
    • Polo National High School
