MANILA, Philippines - Floods unleashed by heavy monsoon rains again swamped several areas in Quezon City late Wednesday afternoon.

Among the flooded areas in the city are the northbound lane of Commonwealth Avenue near Diliman Preparatory School and Timog Avenue near Tomas Morato.

Also, Katipunan Avenue near the Balara area is submerged in waist-deep flood as well as the southbound lane near Ateneo de Manila University.

C.P. Garcia Avenue near the University of the Philippines in Diliman is no longer passable to all types of vehicles due to high floods.

In Barangay Del Monte going to West River side, floods are already higher than people.
