MANILA, Philippines -- (UPDATE - 12:41 p.m.) Rainfall warnings were terminated at 12:20 p.m. Thursday after the state weather bureau observed only light to moderate rainfall of 1-7 millimeters per hour over the previous two hours.

However, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said, “People are still advised to monitor the weather...”

The termination came made less than an hour after PAGASA downgraded its previous Orange warning to Yellow at 11:30 a.m. after monitoring moderate rainfall of 5-7.5 mm/hr. over the Camanava area and light to moderate rains of 1-5 mm/hr. over Quezon City and Manila.

On Thursday, PAGASA revised the color code for its rainfall warning system, replacing the second level from Green to Orange.

Meanwhile, PAGASA reported moderate to heavy rains over Olongapo City and surrounding areas and moderate rains over Balanga City.

It also said light to moderate rainfall could be expected over Bocaue and nearby areas.
