MANILA, Philippines - More than 30 barangays are still affected with flood at Lubao, Pampanga, Representative Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo's hometown.
The number of affected families has reached to more than 14,000 already which is equivalent to almost 70,000 individuals.
Also, Arroyo's ancestral house was affected by neck-deep floods.
A body was found on Wednesday at Barangay San Rafael and was identified as Joey Tolentino, a 33-year-old security guard.
According to Lubao Municipal Police's reports, the security guard was roaming around the area riding a boat when the boat flipped due to strong water current, drowning him.
Meanwhile, Representative Arroyo was spotted giving sacks of rice at Lubao yesterday.
It is not yet confirmed if Arroyo will go back again today.
