MANILA, Philippines – Quezon City police were alerted Saturday morning to the discovery of two bodies, suspected victims of summary execution, found by residents of Rincon St., Barangay San Antonio.
Radio reports said the bodies – one appeared to be that of a male, the other of a female - were found stuffed in two “Balikbayan” boxes, with fake money strewn among their remains.
The male victim found wore jeans and a striped shirt; the woman wore checkered shorts and a jacket.
Police are looking to see if the bodies found in Quezon City are somehow linked to another body, a woman’s, found on Blumentritt Street in San Juan City, also on Saturday.
