Family and friends of Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo have started a vigil for his successful rescue as well as the two missing pilots after their plane crashed off Masbate Saturday.
An advisory from Malacanang said a vigil for Robredo will resume at the La Salle Greenhills in Mandaluyong City at 3 p.m. Sunday.
A mass is scheduled at 5 p.m. Both are open to the public.
The vigil started Saturday after reports broke that Robredo's plane crashed while attempting to make an emergency landing at the Masbate Airport. Search and rescue operations are still ongoing at this time.
In Robredo's hometown in Naga City, supporters, friends, and family members of the Cabinet official have also gathered since Saturday to pray for Robredo's safe rescue.
