President Benigno Aquino III has designated Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa Jr. as officer in charge of the Department of Interior and Local Government.

This was confirmed by Presidential Communications Development Secretary Ramon Carandang and DILG public information officer Ariel Tanangonan.
