MANILA, Philippines -- The Department of Foreign Affairs’ first consular satellite office in Manila, the DFA-National Capital Region East, will open soon at the seventh floor of the new Building C of SM Megamall.
DFA-NCR East will have a soft opening and dry run from August 29 and 30, and September 1.
On these days, the satellite office will accept 500 passport applicants.
On September 3, it will begin accepting a thousand applicants.
The DFA has already opened consular offices at the Pacific Mall in Mandaue, Cebu, Robinsons Star Mills Mall in San Fernando, Pampanga and Marquee Mall in Clark, Pampanga.
DFA-NCR East will be open for processing and releasing from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Mondays to Saturdays.
On Sundays, it will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for releasing only.
Only applicants with scheduled appointments and senior citizens with valid proof of age shall be accommodated.
