MANILA, Philippines - Four workers drowned when the water of the septic tank of a mall they were cleaning quickly rose to ten feet Thursday morning, Quezon City police said.
In its initial investigation, the QC Homicide Division said the four workers were cleaning the septic tank in Ali Mall in Cubao, Quezon City when the water rose suddenly, trapping them inside.

A driver tried to save them but the water was too high and the victims quickly disappeared underwater.

The Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) is now examining the bodies while the Quezon City Police Department (QCPD) is investigating the incident.

The victims were working for the RCBC Plumbing Services and were identified as: Romy Suarez, Ronnie Suarez, Rodel Suarez, and Marvin Aleman.
