ADVISORY: Flooded Metro Manila streets as of Sept. 11

MANILA, Philippines - Early morning moderate to heavy rains over Metro Manila have flooded Camanava, Quezon City, Manila, Pasay, Pasig, San Juan, Mandaluyong, and Makati. InterAksyon.com will keep an updated list of flooded streets here. 

The MMDA may also post flood advisories for major thoroughfares in real time via the TV5-MMDA Traffic Navigator.

The following roads in Metro Manila were flooded as of this posting time at 7:30 a.m.:

- Espana-Lacson - gutter deep

- Blumentritt - 25 cm deep

- Dapitan/Maceda - 25 cm deep

- Dimasalang/Maceda - 20 cm deep

- Ramon Magsaysay Blvd/Pureza Eastbound - knee deep

- R. Papa - knee deep

"All are advised to take precautionary measures against heavy rains, lightning ,and possible flasfloods," said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

The rains has also prompted the state weather bureau to raise thunderstorm warnings beginning at 4 a.m. However, it terminated the warning at 7:10 a.m.
