Aquino names 4 new envoys

MANILA, Philippines -- President Benigno Aquino III has appointed four new ambassadors, deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte announced at a press briefing on Friday.

The new appointees are:

  • Domingo Lucenario - Pakistan, with concurrent jurisdiction over Afghanistan, Kyrgyz Republic, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan
  • Sahid Glang - Bahrain
  • Ricardo Endaya - Iran, with concurrent jurisdiction over Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan
  • Alex Chua - Myanmar
