'Male' BB Gandanghari stumps NAIA immigration with her beauty

MANILA, Philippines – The Filipino immigration officer was taken aback at the sight before him: the arriving passenger was a pretty, shapely woman in dark glasses, but “her” arrival form listed her gender as “Male.”

The officer asked the returning Filipino passenger to take off her glasses, and after a few minutes of tension as other officers helped check her identity, authorities realized who it was: controversial actor Rustom Padilla aka BB Gandanghari, flying in on Eva Air flight BR721 from Taipei.

Padilla had just come from a week-long vacation from New York, where she said she had a wonderful time, remarking to reporters, “Hay naku , I deserve such a vacation sa Big Apple; kita naman sa glow ko ngayon, di ba?"
