Just a month after the monsoon rains and Typhoon Maring displaced almost 30,000 families and left at least eight persons dead, heavy to intense rains have again fallen on Luzon and Visayas Monday morning.
 
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration placed Metro Manila and nearby areas under orange alert, which means flooding is threatening.
