MANILA - As the 2013 Bar Examinations got under way on Sunday--the first of four--News5's Chi Bocobo reviewed some of the most interesting highlights of previous exams, and who made record performances in the past.

Most notable, the highest score ever attained in the Bar exams was by Ferdinand Edralin Marcos, of Class 1939 of the UP College of Law, with a score of 98.8 percent. His score was so high some quarters raised the possibility of cheating, prompting the Supreme Court to step in and later re-calibrate his score to 92.35 percent.

The highest officially recorded score thus went to Florenz Regalado of San Beda College, with 96.7 percent.

Outstanding senator Tecla San Andres Ziga was the first female topnotcher of the Bar, with 89.4 percent.
