"MANILA - Tacloban in Leyte was among the first to be inundated with water on Friday as 10-foot waves hit the city due to the storm surge caused by super typhoon Yolanda.

Some residents said water even reached Robinsons Mall's ground floor, an incident that could not still be verified by Robinsons Land Corp since they are having difficulty contacting their local personnel. Yolanda had shut down most major malls in the Visayas.
