MANILA, Philippines — While in Vietnam, President Rodrigo Duterte on Thursday reiterated his attacks against the European Union and other critics, this time including Vice President Leni Robredo.
Speaking before Filipinos in Da Nang City, the chief executive told them about EU aid that comes with strings attached.
“(N)agbigay sila (EU) ng assistance pero maraming kondisyones,” the President said.
Duterte also urged Filipinos in Vietnam not to vote for Robredo and others who criticize him and his administration.
“(S)ila Robredo, sila…sus, ‘wag kayong magboto d’yan,” he said, adding that the Vice President and others from the opposition had been putting his administration, including his war on drugs campaign, in a bad light before the eyes of foreigners.
