TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite -- The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on Saturday reported that Cavite province posted a 90.5 percent employment rate as of April 2011, making it the most industrialized province in the country.

DOLE Cavite provincial director Engr. Ignacio S. Sanqui Jr. attributed the unprecedented employment rate to the continuous inflow of new investors and mushrooming of industrial and manufacturing companies, generating thousands of job opportunities and employment to residents and local migrants over the past decades.

Sanqui said with the economic growth, Cavite is also seeing a rise in population, partuclarly due to an influx of migrant workers. Dr. Fe Fiesta, provincial public employment and services office (PPESO) officer-in-charge, said they welcome migrant workers as well as foreign investors, saying both lead to the province's economic development.
