MANILA - Paxys Inc. has formed a joint venture with a Toronto-based business process outsourcing.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, Paxys said it will have a 50 percent interest in the joint venture with Simpro Solutions Inc. The new company will be called Simpro Solutions Philippines Inc.
Simpro Philippines will engage in BPO activities, the listed company said.
Simpro Solutions focuses on contact center and back office services with operations in Canada, India and Mexico.
Paxys is engaged in the call center business through Paxys Global Services Inc., Stellar Global Solutions and Dalian ACS CO. Ltd. It is also engaged in data transcription and IT-consultancy through Scopeworks Asia and Ubaldo-Reidenback Solutions Inc., respectively.
