MANILA - The operator of Cebu Pacific plans to launch six inter-island routes in the fourth quarter, and has offered introductory promo fares for the same.
In a statement, Cebu Air Inc. said it will launch thrice-a-week flights between Cebu and Busuanga, and between Tacloban and Legazpi by October 4.
A day after, Cebu Pacific will launch the following flights: Davao-Butuan, Davao-Dipolog and Tacloban-Iloilo. The airline will use ATR 72-500 aircraft for the above flights.
Starting October 20, CEB will launch flights between Zamboanga and Cagayan de Oro using an Airbus A319.
In line with the new routes, CEB will hold an introductory P488 all-in seat sale until August 2 or until seats last. Tickets should be used for travel from October 4 to December 18.
“Cebu Pacific currently offers 63 domestic routes to 32 domestic destinations, providing passengers with the fastest access to key cities and destinations in the country. With these six new routes, CEB can offer the best connectivity options and the lowest fares to its guests, as well as promote trade and tourism in the destinations it flies to,” said Candice Iyog, the airline’s vice president for marketing and distribution.
“We will accept delivery of 3 more brand-new Airbus A320 aircraft in the second half of 2012, and 7 more in 2013. We look forward to expanding our route network to better serve the ever-growing traveling public in the Philippines,” she added.
