PSBank
Some branches may not be able to open today, August 8, 2012, due to the prevailing weather conditions. For banking needs, clients may deposit or withdraw, make payments or do business in any of PSBank branches nationwide. Interbranch transaction fees will be waived.

BPI
Its branches were open yesterday, August 7, until 1 pm.

BPI said it also ensured that its ATMs not affected by flooding or lack of electricity and telecommunication services would be working and have adequate cash to enable withdrawals. 

A total of 910 ATMs in Greater Metro Manila area were available to serve its customers. BPI's electronic channels of ExpressOnline, ExpressMobile and Point-of-Sale Terminals were also working 24/7 to support our customers' transactional needs.

EastWest Bank
All branches are open.

China Bank
Nine closed branches in Pasig, Manila and Marikina areas closed temporarily:

  • D. Tuazon
  • Balanga
  • Shaw-Haig
  • Paso de Blas
  • Balut
  • España
  • Ortigas-Riverside
  • Masangkay
  • Masangkay-Luzon

The premises of the said branches are either knee-deep or ankle-deep in flood water. There is no power in the area so ATMs in these branches are likewise unavailable. The branches’ customers are advised to transact at nearby China Bank branches and through the Bank’s ATMs in other locations.

As of today, August 8, 325 out of 364 China Bank ATMs are online. The Bank’s internet banking and mobile banking service, China Bank Online, is also up and running, as well as its phone banking service, Tellerphone, even during the heavy downpour. 

Banco de Oro
Branches, infrastructure and ATMs are operational in spite of the flood-related conditions.
 
"However some of our branches are inoperable at this time, due to having been physically affected by the calamity.  For these affected branches, we are making arrangements for our customers to be served by the nearest operating branch," BDO said in a statement.
 
ATMs are up as well, except for a handful affected by the floods and rain.

"We are exerting every effort to ensure that they remain replenished with cash on a regular basis," the Sy-led bank said.
 
"We remain committed to serve the public during this difficult time.  Please however bear with us as we are also operating on a skeletal force," it added.

SSS
All Social Security System branches are open except in Taguig and Las Pinas. Members can avail of regular salary loans and house improvement loans to repair damage to their homes and for emergency needs of their families.

Metrobank
Due to prevailing weather conditions, Metrobank branches in areas affected by the flooding in Metro Manila and some parts of Luzon, are closed. However, other branches and offices that are not affected will conduct normal operations. Clients of the affected branches will be serviced by the nearest Metrobank branch in the vicinity.
 
Metrobank's ATM network are available for immediate cash transactions while other electronic banking channels such as Metrophone Banking, Mobile Banking, and online banking through www.metrobankdirect.com can also be used to facilitate payment transactions.
