Load credits, donations by SMS

Earlier, as monsoon-induced rains flooded most parts of Metro Manila and nearby provinces, Smart alerted those who have run out of load credits for emergency to dial in *7572 to receive credits worth P5.

In a statement, Smart said this credit is equivalent to four All-Net short messaging services (SMS) and P1 airtime.

A P5 airtime will be deducted from the subscriber’s next load purchase.

Smart subscribers may also donate to Baha Fund via Smart Money Acct. No. 5577 5130 6822 1104.

Deposits are also accepted in BDO branches.  Smart subscribers may also send donations to Red Cross by texting RED to 4143.

In addition, Smart provided Libreng Tawag service to hard-hit barangays to support the communication needs of the residents.

Smart, working with barangay officials, put up Libreng Tawag centers in various parts of Metro Manila.

Smart Relief Operations started in Valenzuela on Monday and more would be undertaken in other areas in the following days.

Teams in North Luzon and other affected areas outside of Metro Manila were on standby to deploy Libreng Tawag services and relief operations as soon as floodwaters recede.
