MANILA - Expert Global Solutions on Wednesday said it will increase its workforce by another 3,000 before the year ends.

During the press launch of the International Contact Center Conference & Expo 2012, Rainerio Borja, EGS president and country head, said the company already employs 12,000 spread across eight sites.

EGS succeeded NCO Group Inc. and APAC Customer Services Inc. after their merger last April. With the merger, EGS expands its service offering to account receivable management and customer relationship management.

"We are currently on the hunt for a new headquarter facilities. We are putting up a stand-alone building that will be the first one in Metro Manila. That would be our headquarters here, because we want to be in that building by 2014 when some of our leases actually expire," Borja said.

"We are also looking at other provincial locations," he said, adding that the company's budget for expansion runs to a "few million dollars."
