1ST BIRTHDAY TREAT | AirAsia Philippines offers one-peso fare promo

ANGELES CITY, Pampanga – To celebrate its first birthday, AirAsia Philippines is launching a one-peso base fare promo for all destinations starting tomorrow, April 15, 2013.

"We aim to play a big role in growing the market. The passenger traffic in Clark has grown tremendously last year and we have consistently remained committed in providing our guests with the highest standards in safety, efficiency, and quality service,” Freddy Herrera, AirAsia Inc. Commercial Head, said.

The first birthday blowout promo is available for booking on AirAsia’s website www.airasia.com from April 15 to 21, 2013, and the travel period will be from June 1 to September 30, 2013. Guests will also be able to book their flights via AirAsia’s new and improved mobile apps as well which are available for download at Apple’s App Store for iPhone, Google’s Play Store for Android phones, or at mobile.airasia.com for WAP enabled phones.

“Before AirAsia and other airlines that came after us established operations in Clark, our SMEs and travellers, particularly OFWs and their families in Central and Northern Luzon, and those in Northern Metro Manila were underserved and saddled with poor connectivity and high fares. Since we launched our operations a year ago, I believe we have been making small strides day by day by offering low fares and unparalleled travel experience,” Herrera said.

The Piso Fare promo is not its only offering. AirAsia Philippines is also set to surprise passengers at the Clark International Airport with exciting games and free flight giveaways in the coming days.

“It’s our birthday but we are giving our passengers a gift to thank them for their tremendous support as we look forward to another year of awesome trips and celebrations. This year will be a major year for us as we intend to double or grow our footprint by establishing our presence in Metro Manila through our strategic partnership with Zest Airways.” Herrera said.

For payment convenience, AirAsia’s cash payment partner service provides guests the option to pay for promo seats booked online in cash through any 7-Eleven, Bayad Center, and Cebuana Lhuillier outlets nationwide. AirAsia Phlippines call center also accepts booking of regular fares via +632 742.27.47 from Monday to Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
