The “Pinoy Explorer host will grace the East Coast launch of TV5 International’s two channels, Kapatid TV5 and Aksyon TV International, at at the Meadowlands Expo Center in Secaucus, New Jersey.
Aga said he will not leave showbiz despite his impending entry into the political arena. The actor recently joined the administration-backed Liberal Party and announced his plan to run for the congressional seat of the 4th district of Camarines Sur in next year’s elections.
He is unfazed by many people’s fears that politics would smear his squeaky-clean image. “Ang sabi nga nila ang pulitika nagiging madumi ‘pag ikaw madumi ka rin, ano. So hindi naman ako makikidumi sa kanila,” he said.
