After suing Ruffa Gutierrez last month, Amalia Fuentes has made good on her threat to sue Ruffa’s mother next, adding another case in Annabelle Rama’s long list of legal battles.
The former movie queen accused Annabelle of committing libel on 11 counts at the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office on Wednesday for statements the latter made on her Twitter account.
But the real surprise was another libel charge she lodged against TV host and Philippine Star columnist Bianca Gonzalez.
Amalia alleged that Bianca had defamed her by reporting in her February 12 column Annabelle’s claim that Amalia once had a romantic relationship with her husband, Eddie Gutierrez.
Amalia admonished Bianca for not making the effort to get her side of the story and advised her to take a writing seminar.
Bianca vowed to issue a statement about the case on Thursday.
