‘Barong Legacy’: In national attire (over cargo pants) Jeremy Renner visits Aquino

MANILA, Philippines – Actor Jeremy Renner, who plays the lead character in the reworked Bourne movie franchise, paid a courtesy call on President Benigno Aquino III on Wednesday.

He was joined by Bourne Legacy executive production manager Daniel Stillman, executive producer Patrick Crowley, and his Filipino counterpart, Jun Juban.

A major portion of the movie was shot in Metro Manila and Palawan.

Aquino gave each of his visitors a box of chocolates bearing the presidential seal.
Renner and his Bourne colleagues all wore barong tagalog – though Renner wore his over cargo pants.

Renner and company gave Aquino three DVDs of Bourne movies – The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, and The Bourne Ultimatum - and of the films The Town and The Hurt Locker.

They were joined by Presidential Communications Operations Office head Herminio Coloma, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority Francis Tolentino, Presidential Communications Development and Strategic Planning Office head Ramon Carandang, and Tourism Secretary Ramon Jimenez.
