Celebs tweet concern over Metro floods

No one is spared from the adverse effects of any calamity — even the celebrities that many of us admire and idolize.

Based on their tweets about the massive flooding in Metro Manila on Tuesday, they also have the same fears, concerns, prayers and desire to help those in need as almost everyone else.

There was Jed Madela who couldn’t help but tweet his frustration over being out of town while the area surrounding his house was being flooded.

Some like singer Jaya and Sandwich’s Raymund Marasigan were apprehensive about the floods in their own areas and were doing everything they can to keep safe.

Agot Isidro tweeted her concern about friends and relatives in heavily submerged Marikina. Miriam Quiambao was happy to learn that a rescue team had come to the aid of a trapped production assistant, while JC De Vera said he hopes animals will not be forgotten in efforts to save lives and property.

And others were doing what they could to help out, including relying on the power of prayer to help see everyone through.

Even American singer-songwriter Michelle Branch expressed her concern from across the Pacific.

The following tweets pretty much tell those stories and more.
