Eula Caballero thrilled by praise from Maricel Soriano

MANILA, Philippines – After holding her own while starring opposite the country’s Superstar Nora Aunor in TV5’s drama series “Sa Ngalan ng Ina,” network princess Eula Caballero is ready for another major project.

She portrays again the daughter of a veteran actress, ranged this time against the “Diamond” star Maricel Soriano. Eula plays the daughter of Maricel and Gabby Concepcion in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.”

The “Diamond” star only had praises for Eula when she spoke to the press at the pictorial for “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.” She said she was amazed by Eula’s exceptional talent.

Eula could barely contain her joy on hearing this.

“Oh gosh! Oh gosh! Talaga [Really]? hahahaha hindi nga [really now]!?

Eula was grateful to Maricel for being very “motherly” and helping her emote in tearjerker scenes.

“Sobrang iyakan kasi, e wala na akong mahugutan ng luha; tapos, sobrang bait niya, mahigpit na hinawakan niya kamay ko  para ipasa yung emotions sakin [There were scenes where so much weeping was called for. I didn’t know where to draw those tears from. But Maricel was so kind. She pressed my hand, as if to let her emotions run through me as well.]”
