Jennylyn Mercado would welcome Patrick Garcia’s new child as playmate to their son Jazz

Jennylyn Mercado.

From her career, to her love life, to other aspects of her personal life, things have never been better for Jennylyn Mercado.

The actress-TV host was a picture of bliss when she sat down for an interview with News5 on the last shooting day of her latest movie “The Bride and the Lover” in Quezon City on Monday.

First, she said she was elated with the way the family of her boyfriend, actor-TV host Luis “Lucky” Manzano, had welcomed her with open arms.

Jennylyn had become a fixture in Luis’ family affairs, whether on the side of his mom, Star for All Seasons and Lipa City Mayor Vilma Santos, or his dad, “Good Morning Club” co-host Edu Manzano.

“Mabait po talaga pamilya ni Lucky. Wala akong masabi. I’m very blessed and thankful sa ipinapakita nila sa ‘kin,” she said.

Jennylyn clarified that she and Luis had not yet discussed any wedding plans, although she would prefer a beach ceremony if ever the time came.

She said she had also finally achieved a harmonious relationship with Patrick Garcia, the father of her 4-year-old son, Jazz.

She said she was happy for Patrick, whose non-showbiz girfriend had given birth recently.

“At least, di ba? Nakahanap na rin siya ng babae para sa kanya na mamahalin niya talaga,” she said.

Although Patrick had just begun his own family, Jennylyn noted that he was now conscientious about his responsibilities to Jazz.

She also brushed off insinuations that Patrick’s girlfriend still got jealous of her.

She would welcome the possibility of Jazz being playmates with Patrick’s other child.

“Oo naman. Wala naman problema sa ‘kin ‘yun. Kahit medyo malayo agwat nila, okey lang ‘yon,” she said.
