Actress Amalia Fuentes bared the stab wound she sustained from an altercation with her tenant on Wednesday, but a houseboy of the tenant said on Thursday that it was the actress who attacked his employer first.
Lester Coligado was the only person left behind on Thursday at the townhouse in New Manila Rolling Hills Vilage in Quezon City where the incident happened on Wednesday afternoon.
He claimed that Fuentes started the scuffle by hitting his boss, Peter Tan Licup, with an umbrella.
“Amo ko ho ang hinampas niya,” Coligado said. He claimed his employers have video evidence showing the actress attacking his boss and his boss’s wife, Rosamarie.
Coligado added that Amalia also threw bricks at them. The couple and their children immediately vacated the townhouse owned by Fuentes after the incident.
News5 caught Fuentes and her son Geric Stevens while receiving treatment at the emergency room at St. Luke’s Hospital in Quezon City on Wednesday night.
The actress showed the wound on her back, which she said she sustained after being stabbed and beaten with an umbrella by her tenants. She also suffered from hypertension due to the incident.
Fuentes said she confronted the Licup couple because the check they had issued to her as rental payment had bounced.
Stevens sustained bruises on his leg, shoulder and knee from a beating by three armed men. He said one of the men also hit him with a gun, while another picked up the gun after it dropped on the ground and shot at him.
Stevens said the gun didn’t fire because the chamber was still locked.
Fuentes and Stevens said they will file charges of frustrated murder against the tenants and their employees.
