All eyes were on Pauleen Luna as she walked the ramp for local brand Dickies during the recenty concluded Philippine Fashion Week.

“Madali ako matapilok, madapa so that was my main concern. Sabi ko ang goal ko lang ngayong gabi eh hindi ako madapa,” a relieved Pauleen told InterAksyon after the show.

The “Eat Bulaga” host who had been suffering from the flu for two days was with her mom during the event. Asked if she missed someone, “Wala, wala naman,” she said. “Saturday is family day,” explaining the absence of her boyfriend Vic Sotto.

Pauleen was also adamant in denying she had to get Bossing Vic’s approval, “No, no, no, no,” she said. “I can do whatever I want and I need to do when it comes to my job.”

Although she did admit that Vic was hesitant when he saw the invitation for the underwear show, “Well, kasi underwear nga naman ‘yung nakasulat,” she laughs. “Nagulat lang pero ‘yun nga madali namang kausap ang Dickies, saka hindi naman ako ganon ka-fit para mag-underwear so naiintindihan naman nila.”

Will posing for the cover of a sexy men’s magazine be the next step for the Kapuso actress?

“Naku, apat na taon na ‘yan, hindi talaga eh. Hindi talaga,” she said.

On a personal note, Pauleen revealed that she had had more time to bond with the Sottos recently, even campaigning for Vic’s nephew Wahoo Sotto who ran and won as councilor for the second district of Parañaque.

“Kilala ko naman na sila even before so it’s not like it’s the first time that I’m spending time with them,” she shared. As for spending time with Vic’s children, “Good, good! Friends naman kami ever since,” she says of the experience.

She adds, “Wala namang ilangan kasi nga matagal na kaming magkakaibigan, actually si Oyo nasa debut ko pa.”

But quick as she was to talk about her growing closeness to Vic and his family, Pauleen turned self-conscious when asked if she believes that she will be the last woman in the comedian’s life and if an altar date is coming soon.

“Di ko po alam,” she says shyly. “No one knows, I don’t know. Hindi ko kasi alam kung papano ako magre-react because it’s not something na nanggagaling sa babae so I really don’t know.”

But is she happy with the status quo of showbiz’s most famous May-December affair?

“Oh yeah, very happy,” she concludes with a smile.
