If you noticed today’s (December 12) Google doodle is a microchip in honor of Robert Noyce’s 84th birthday.

Si Noyce ay isa sa nag-tatag nang Fairchild Semiconductor noong 1957 at Intel Corporation noon naman 1968. Kasama si Jack Kilby, na-imbento nila ang integrated circuit o microchip na ngayon ginagamit na sa halos lahat ng computer products. Dito rin nag-simula ang titatawag na digital revolution.
From time to time, Google redesigns its website logo to honor or celebrate people, places and events. Kadalasan, nakaka-aliw ang mga ito dahil minsan interactive pa sila, tulad nalang ng tribute kay Les Paul, ang nag-imbento ng electric guitar.
